I visited them for dinner tonight. Such a lovely decorated place with a beautiful mural that tells a story and display of old guns. I like how the place was spick and span and the use of classy furniture and cutlery adds to the classy demeanour. The food was equally mesmerising and the staff was very nice. Surely a place you would like to come on a date or a family get-together. I am glad that the prices are quite reasonable compared to their bougie outlook.

We visited Old Durbar in Nunawading with my husband. Our daughter was in Nepal and raved about Nepalese Momos so we had to come and experience for ourselves. OMG wonderful food and lovely lovely wait staff. We felt welcomed the minute we arrived. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Authentic Nepalese music (not too loud or obtrusive to conversation). Amazing menu, some curry favourites (if you like Indian food) but with Nepalese flair. We started with outstanding Momos - of course. A serve of 10 so five each! My husband tried the Kashmir Lamb which was absolutely delicious and again a really generous serve. I had traditional Nepalese dish: the Chicken Sekuwa Set. Delicious exciting flavours but maybe a little too hot for me personally, but would recommend for and adventurous palate ! An altogether lovely meal and we'll definitely come back. Great food and atmosphere, reasonably priced without breaking the bank. Starter + main + dessert + tea + bottle of prosecco for $127 5 all round.

We ordered the Fish Curry Thali set and Goat Sekuwa - the food was flavourful and tasty. The waitress was so helpful in explaining the dishes (even providing samples of what beaten rice was). Definitely coming back to try other dishes! Highly recommended!

My partner and I saw this new restaurant and have tried the food this evening with amazing experience. The service was warm and friendly from all staff, the restaurant is very clean with beautiful artwork. My partner ordered Goat Thali Set & Buff Momos and was in heaven with both! They offered us an extra chilli sauce that was amazing. I ordered the Veg Momos and Veg Thali Set - again, they were both so delicious. Super satisfying, so many options that serve different diets, and we can't wait to come back and try more! Definitely suggest to anyone who loves great food!

Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Pricing justifies the size of meals get served . The freshness of the ingredients and the unique flavors in each dish was unforgettable. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts!

Wow! What an amazing meal, served with the very best hospitality. Lovely ambiance and some of the very best food in the Eastern suburbs. Prices excellent, menu that will take me years to work through coupled with a very good drink and wine list. The flavours simply devine. Thank you thank you look forward to returning when next in Melbourne.

Tried a wide range of dishes to get a feel for the restaurant and we were very pleased. Everything was very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the chicken Momo in butter chicken sauce and the spiced tea. I will definitely be back!

Staff were very helpful & friendly, food excellent specially the Shish Kebab. The goat Byriani meat was tender & flavourful, malai kofta yummy. Will definitely be back.
